The TerraBox is a moveable solar panel factory, using locally available raw materials and electricity as its only inputs.
The main value the TerraBox offers is:
- A per watt price reduction compared to conventional silicon solar panels
- Local production, reducing supply chains, associated emissions and enabling the local economy.
- Produces solar panels with a vast reduction of CO2 emissions and chemicals usage in the production process.
What is the application domain?
Typical applications include utility-scale solar park in desert areas, but also remote industrial applications using waste streams (like sand produced from construction materials or mine tailings).
How your solution is used?
Local production of solar panels just using sand and electricity as inputs.
Is your solution used in Luxembourg?
Yes in our facilities and we have an agreement for a pilot with the local entity of Engie.
Is your solution used internationally?
Yes, we are active globally and we have several pilot projects signed.
